The Nutella Proof

7.5 g fat 3.5 grams saturated per serving of (11 g total fat) Nutella, 10 servings per 13oz jar:
75 g fat 35 g saturated fat per jar of Nutella

10 hazelnuts = 8 g fat 1 g saturated fat, so 50 hazelnuts = 40 g fat 5 g saturated fat

Cocoa (per the label) has .5 grams of fat 1 g saturated fat (1.5g total) per tablespoon

Palm oil (per the label) has 8.4 grams fat 5.6 grams saturated fat (14 g total) per tablespoon

75 (fat) - 40(fat in hazelnuts) = 35 g fat and 35(total saturated fat) -5(saturated fat in hazelnuts) = 30g saturated fat

4 tbsp palm oil contains 33.6 g fat and 22.4g saturated fat
1/2 cup cocoa contains      4 g fat and       8g saturated fat
                                           37 g fat and  30.4 g saturated fat

US RDA for calcium = 1,000 mg
Calcium in 100 grams of dry milk = 1257 mg

Per the Nutella label, 4% RDA of calcium
4% of 1000 is 40
1257 (mg of calcium) is to 100 grams (of milk powder) as 40 (calcium) is to X (milk powder) = X equals 3.1

115 grams in 1 cup of nonfat dry milk powder:  Doing the same ratio calculation:
115 (grams) is to 1 cup as 3 (grams) is to .02 cups

.02 cups to teaspoons is about a teaspoon per serving of nutella.  .034 cups times 10 servings = about 1/4 cup

Sugars in milk powder - 9 g sugar in 1/3 cup (23 grams) milk

Total sugars in Nutella = 21 g per serving x 10 servings = 210 g

210 g total sugars – 9 g (milk sugars) = 201 grams total refined sugar

1 cup refined sugar has 200 grams of sugar.  Total sugar - 1 cup plus 1/4 tsp.

In 1 tablespoon, approximately (divide each value by 10 - number of 2 tbsp servings in a jar - and then divide by 2)

about 2 teaspoons sugar
Slightly less than .75 teaspoons palm oil
1.25 teaspoons hazelnuts
1.25 teaspoons cocoa
.5 teaspoons of dry milk
